We are seeking someone who is proactive, a self-starter and has a proven track record of delivering results. The Producer participates in all production meetings, while working closely with the show's Executive Producer to reach production goals.
​
Legendary Studio Shows is in the midst of an exciting transformation initiative expanding from Washington, D.C. to Los Angeles, CA and the team is actively seeking someone that is:

Well versed in the the understanding of cost estimation, planning, event production, market research and pricing.

In an depth understanding of product marketing and sales, while targeting specific demographics.

Comfortable with leading a production crew to ensure project goals are obtained.

Able to meet deadlines and is able to quickly shift-focus according to production changes.\

Experienced with identifying and managing sub-contractors.
DESCRIPTION
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Co-Show Producer must be able to:

Conduct outreach for entertainers on live concert and comedy show productions within a 50 to 75-mile radius of the producing city
-
Provide support for Casting Calls for live on-stage musicals and stage plays
-
Research demographics and create a development plan to include a road map, measuring project goals from start to show execution

Clearly communicated requirements with Executive Show producer to have contracts developed
-
Create box office projections using Legendary Studio Show Basis of Estimate (BoE)
-
Leverage production budgets while staying within or below budget.

Work closely with the Show Manager(s) over all projects, while providing regular updates as he/she works directly with artist(s) and management
-
Manage a small team of 2-3 employees to effectively market and advertise to direct consumers

Have excellent communication and presentation skills with technical, non-technical, and executive audiences

Have/develop an understanding of theatre technical terms
-
Attend regular meetings with the Washington, D.C. team to provide updates, project schedules and development progress
-
Ability to plan, organize and proctor efficient meetings through preparation and stakeholder subscription and possess an innate ability to guide a group towards agreed upon objectives

Be able to operate day-of live shows alongside Executive Producers and project team

Ability to bridge communication and provide clear and concise status updates with a diverse set of technical and non-technical stakeholders

Own tracking and resolution of team blockers and issues.

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications or related field
